Workout for Monday, February 22nd, 2021 —

For Time:

3 Rounds of

10 Clusters (95/65)

250m Row

then…

3 Rounds of

10 Clean and Jerks (135/95)

250m Row

then…

3 Rounds of

10 Power Cleans (185/135)

250m Row

The idea is that the barbell (or dumbbell) gets heavier in each part but the lift is less taxing. If you only have one weight, increase the reps in the later parts (15 C&Js and 20 power cleans/round). You can sub 200m run, 500m bike, or 1 minute of other cardio for the row if needed.

Let’s be real, I can’t hit those weights. I’ll probably start lighter so I can keep increasing. I’m thinking 55 on the clusters, 75 on the clean and jerks and 95 on the cleans, maybe? Do what feels right for you.

Oh ya, and don’t forget, a cluster is a squat clean thruster…sorry about that.

  1. 24:59. 55/75/95. Clusters unbroken first set then 5/5. Clean and jerks in 5/5. First set of cleans in singles then 4/3/3. Bike/Row/Bike. Bike felt so much better!! Good one. My arms are going to fall off.
