“Death Grip”

We’re doing intervals for hump day pump day. Sometimes I think these are the toughest workouts.

Workout for Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 —

10 Rounds:

On a 2 Minute Clock,

250m Row

Max Kettlebell Swings (even rounds) or Max Pull Ups (odd rounds)

1 Minute Rest

If you’re doing it right, this workout will take 30 minutes. Your “score” is total reps. The idea is that you try to hold the same pace and number of reps (or better) as you go through the rounds.

If you don’t have a pull-up bar the recommended sub is KB SDHPs. That said, you can do any two movements you feel like doing for this one. If you don’t have a rower, sub 500m bike or 200m run. The idea is that you’re done with the cardio in the first minute and you have the second minute for the max reps part.

  1. I have no idea. I was around 25 each for both movements which gets me around 250 or so. Did 40# DB rows because strict pullups would have given me too much rest.
