“Uphill Battle”

Doesn’t Monday always feel like an uphill battle? This week, we’ll try to embrace it with an uphill battle of a workout. Speaking of workouts, as we go, I’m creating categories for workouts. When you’re on the main page of the blog, if you scroll to the bottom, you can search through the workouts by category if you’re looking for something specific. Categories include AMRAPs, 30+ minutes, etc. More categories will be added as we have more workouts on here.

Workout for Monday, January 11th, 2021 —

For Time:

3 Rounds of “Barbell Battle”

50 Sit Ups

4 Rounds of “Barbell Battle”

75 Sit Ups

5 Rounds of “Barbell Battle”

100 Sit Ups

“Barbell Battle” =

3 Power Cleans (135/95)

4 Push Jerk

5 Back Squats

It’s supposed to be on the heavier side, so if you only have light weight (or want to go lighter) feel free to increase either number of reps or number of rounds. How is it Monday already?!

  1. 14:49. Had to change course w/gym too cold. Only had 35# DBs. Did everything one armed and doubled rounds to save low back.

  2. 14:16. it was 9 degrees when I turned the heat on in the gym. After realizing that it was still going to be freezing at workout time, we abandoned the gym and brought dumbbells inside. Only had 20# DBs, so ended up adding a round of 6 rounds at the end. With that added, it was 17:56.
