Back to the grind tomorrow and, holy hell, it’s March.

Workout for Monday, March 1st, 2021 —

4 Rounds for Time of:

30 Double Unders

20 Wall Balls (20/14)

10 Box Jump Overs (24/20)

5 Power Cleans (115/75)

then…2 Minutes Rest…then…

10 Minute EMOM — Build to a Heavy Power Clean

3 – 3 – 3 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 1 – 1 – 1

If you don’t have a full-on gym, this one might be a challenge. If that’s the case, I’d suggest doing something like: 7 rounds, 30 jumping lunges, 20 single arm thrusters (10 each arm), 10 jumping squats, 5 dumbbell squat cleans. That should be enough of an ass kicker.

For those hitting the gym version, go easy on the power cleans in the first part. Use them as a warm up for the EMOM at the end. If you’re at home and you can’t drop the bar, try building to a heavy hang clean instead.

  1. 11 something on first part (75# BB & 12# WB for me and 88# BB and 15# WB for Paddy). EMOM up to 130# (me) and 170# (Paddy PR!). I struggled on the first part but I liked this one. Miss lifting heavy every once in a while.
