“Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go”

Anyone remember this nursery rhyme? This is how it goes…

Monday’s child is fair of face

Tuesday’s child is full of grace

Wednesday’s child is full of woe

Thursday’s child has far to go,

Friday’s child is loving and giving,

Saturday’s child works hard for a living,

And the child that is born on the Sabbath day

Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay

The day of your birth is supposed to predict your character. Tomorrow, we are all Thursday’s children.

Workout For Thursday, January 28th, 2021 —

2 Rounds of “Thursday”

500m Row (sub 400m run or 1000m bike)

4 Rounds of “Thursday”

500m Row

6 Rounds of “Thursday”

500m Row

8 Rounds of “Thursday”

500m Row

10 Rounds of “Thursday”

500m Row

*1 Round of “Thursday” = 1 Power Clean, 1 Clean & Jerk, 2 Bar Facing Burpees

**Rx = 135/95

The cleans are supposed to feel heavy, but there are quite a few of them (60 in total). Pick a weight that is challenging for you. You shouldn’t need to drop the bar between the clean and clean & jerk, but in the later rounds you can if needed. If you don’t have a heavy weight, or you just don’t feel like going heavy, do 2 cleans and 2 clean and jerks each round at a lighter weight (keep the burpees the same).

For your playlist tomorrow, it’s songs about days of the week!
